About The Author

Jamie Hallman, Christian and author of The Expectation Gap, standing in an office setting

Jamie Hallman is the founder of Consider It Closed LLC, a thriving real estate transaction coordination company based in St. Augustine, Florida. Building and leading this business has honed Jamie’s problem-solving skills, sharpened her assertiveness, and grown her leadership in tangible ways. As she navigates the high-stakes, fast-paced world of real estate, Jamie has learned how to think on her feet, communicate clearly under pressure, and lead a team with integrity, all of which influence the way she empowers others in every area of her life.

Alongside her work in real estate, she is deeply passionate about helping others grow. She is committed to facilitating meaningful change, personal growth, and spiritual maturity in those she encounters. This dedication has inspired her to pursue a biblical counseling certification to guide individuals on their unique journeys. In the meantime, she shares valuable insights from her own experiences in her book, The Expectation Gap, inviting readers to reflect and grow alongside her.

Faith in Jesus Christ serves as the cornerstone of Jamie’s life, guiding every personal and professional decision she makes. Through her journey, she has faced and overcome challenges such as depression, anxiety, perfectionism, and feelings of rejection and isolation. These experiences—including navigating the difficult path of divorce and ultimately finding joy in a fulfilling marriage—have deepened her understanding that true life comes from embracing God and His will while straying from His path leads to emptiness. As a result, Jamie has gained invaluable insights into personal growth and the complexities of relationships, allowing her to connect with and support others in their struggles.

Jamie has a diverse background, having traveled the world for a year with just what she could fit into a backpack alongside a group of strangers on The World Race. This transformative experience broadened her cultural perspective and deepened her understanding of what truly matters, enabling her to connect authentically with clients from all backgrounds and cultures.

In addition, Jamie holds a B.S. in Human Nutrition and has nearly a decade of experience as a Registered Dietitian. During this time, she provided individual and group coaching on nutrition, health, and wellness while also serving as a public speaker for diverse audiences, including SNAP participants and law enforcement. This varied coaching background has equipped her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges that different personality types face in balancing personal goals with cultural and personal struggles.

Jamie's attentive listening, effective communication, and ability to get to the root of issues enable her to help clients set meaningful goals and foster accountability. She is dedicated to supporting others on their journeys toward personal growth and fulfillment, guiding them in identifying practical solutions.

Jamie invites readers and clients to connect with her, drawing from her experiences for inspiration and guidance as they navigate their own paths to success.
